Samsung announced two new monochrome laser printers: the ML-3051ND and the ML-3051N. Both printers are made for small and medium offices and home use. Thease printers have a 400Mhz processor and 64MB memory witch is enough to print up to 30 pages per minute. As a member of devices in SOHO class they are declared to print up to 35,000 pages per one toner cartrige, in 1200 x 1200 dpi resolution. Whitch results qute cheap printing about 1.5 cents per page. Samsung implements new TonerSave™ feature in both printers, so printing price per page can be even lower.
Paper drawer capacity is 550 sheats of paper. Main difference between this two printers is that the ML-3051ND’s has auto-duplexing feature, with duplex printing speed about 21 pages per minute.
“The ML-3051ND and the ML-3051N are compact in size, but they are loaded with high-performance features that make them the perfect workhorse for small and medium size businesses,” said Mark Meisberger, product marketing manager, printer products, Samsung Electronics America, Inc. “These printers not only provide an excellent productivity solution, but they offer it with a low total cost of ownership, which is an important factor in today’s competitive business environment.”
Also both of new printers offers wireless network printing on Internet or Local network (Ethernet). They are compatible with Windows, Macintosh and Linux operating systems, and they offer USB 2.0, IEEE 1284 Parallel, and Ethernet 10/100 Base TX connectivity.
The ML-3051ND and ML-3051N are available and cost $349.99 and $249.99, respectively.
