Bringing out the newest phones is the New Sony Ericsson T270 and T280, which are designed to be some great entry-level phones. With the T270 designed for basic business users and the T280 designed for the typical user, they are packed with features to help ensure that they are firmly implanted into the minds of people. One of the first things you will notice is that they are either a glassy silver and black color, or a copper and glassy silver. The style is a bit of a blocky design, which is intended to help ensure that the phone has an expensive appearance.
Moving into the inner workings of the phone itself the T270 features a 128 x 160-pixel color screen as well as a calendar, Bluetooth, predictive text input, and the ability to use EMS, SMS and also MSM messages. This combined with the multi-media support gives you a great little phone wrapped into a small package.
In contrast, the T280 brings a 1.3 MP camera with a 4x digital zoom to the mix. However, there are no other ground breaking features that really make these phones a must have. With the T270 missing the camera it appears to be lacking a lot of the features that many business users would be looking for. Despite the fact that the T270 is marketed towards the business users primarily. With features such as e-mail and sync missing it is certainly a bit lacking.
The phone is coming in two different models for each, with the T270i and T280i being intended for International markets and the T270a and T280a intended for the American markets. As mentioned previously, there is nothing really spectacular about these phones that makes them a must have in the world of phones lately. The T280 is kind enough to include a FM radio as well, but in a world where MP3 players are included in so many phones lately the FM radio is not a large enough bonus to draw much of a crowd.
