LG KG800LG have announced a European version of their popular Korean “chocolate” handset – a smooth looking slider based on a popular Korean CDMA handset which has sold 300,000 units in Korea alone since its launch last November. He is available now from 24th March 2006. The “chocolate” phone gets its name because of its most popular color, but another neat trick is that there are “hidden” touch-sensitive that light up only under certain circumstances. This gives the LG KG800 a very distinctive and sleek look when closed, which certainly makes the KG800 look different from anything else on the market.

His weight is 83 grams and his dimensions are 95 x 48 x 15.2 mm. TFT display have 256 thousand colors with 176 x 220 pixels, 31 x 39 mm and TFT have touch-sensitive navigation keys with backlights.keyboard
He got a camera with 1.3 MP with 1280 x 960 pixels and also he video(QCIF) and flash. Camera is not bad, but you can take some quality pictures. Video is good, but unfortunately you cannot record some big videos, video is limited to ten minutes.

He supports MP3/AAC/MPEG4 player and you can freely listen to your mp3 songs, but you must choose your songs according to your memory. Battery is standard,Lion with 800 mAh.He, also , supports Java MIDP 2.0, T9 and he has organizer. He is designed to work on GSM 900 / GSM 1800 / GSM 1900. He has bluetooth ver. 1.2 , infrared and usb, but unfortunately he doesn`t support 3G, WLAN and edge.

You can find this mobile device only in black color. That is ok, because black color is standard for mobile devices. His address book supports only 1000 entries, but you can add entry with work number, mobile number, fax etc. There is a plenty of options in his address book. He have vibration, and stereo speakers. Unfortunately, he does not have a card slot, but his intern memory is 128 MB.

So if you want this pretty-look designed mobile device I would recommend to you. He has everything that you need, like all the other mobile devices, and he is easy to use for the GPRS, and for writing sms messages. I must admit that the LG KG800 “Chocolate” is certainly different from other sliders, and the expected feature set, smooth looks and light weight will potentially give it a bit of a unique selling proposition. LG’s claim that the “chocolate” phone has a 7% market share in Korea, so presumably it must be pretty good.
