Samsung release new ultra-slim smart-phone SGH-i320. This model is a sign that Samsung is preparing a breakthru on smart-phone market, which now is ruled by Nokia N series, Blackberry and Motorola Q – for now.
In february this year on The 3GSM World Congress 2007 in Barcelona, Samsung announces new phone. Starting this Jun company was started to ship first devices. Samsung SGH-i320 is an ultra-slim smart-phone with full qwerty keyboard, based on Windows Mobile platform.
Complete QWERTY keyboard and Windows Mobile 5.0 with GUI that should be familiar to all PC Windows users. Windows Mobile 5.0 should bring easier navigation and everyday use similar to home PC use. With stylish, ultra-thin case – 11.5mm tick (on the thickest part) and wheit only 95g, Samsung SGH-i320 is one of the thinnest and lightest smart-phone devices available on the market today.
SGH-i320 has fantastic LCD screen exceptional sharpness, resolution 320×240. It integrated digital camera has 1.3Mpix sensor. Bluetooth module, IR module and classic USB dock connection are allowing connection to any almost any device today.
Phone have software support for chat, instant messaging, email, and it also has built in support for MS Office files.
The heart of this phone is Intel PXA 272 processor on 416 MHz, which is enough for non disturbing and comfortably working in Windows mobile environment. SGH-i320 has large internal memory – 120MB, expandable by micro-SD memory cards.
Phone supports all three main network technologies GSM / GPRS / EDGE (900/1800/1900Mhz) allowing to work and transfer data in mobile networks all around the world.
