The Fujifilm company, in their announcements before next PMA show, had announced seven new digital cameras. Maybe the most important, but for sure product that has drawn most attention is the new Fujifilm FinePix S100FS prosumer digital camera.

We where expecting the successor of the quite popular S6500FD but Fuji has released camera that is more some kind improved and feature packed mix between S6500FD and S9600.

By its announced specifications new Fuji is leaving far behind all competition. Lets take a look at those specifications that are making this Fuji an ultimate prosumer camera.

  • large 2/3 inch CCD optical sensor with 11Mpix – only the size of a sensor can promise great results
  • brand new 4.3x – 28-400mm, now with optical stabilization lens – as its predeccesors it still has mechanical zoom ring on the lens barrel
  • FS – film simulation coming strait from Fuji’s top DSLR S5 PRO – for increased dynamical range
