This is the first mobile device from this company that I am going to speak about. I am very impressed with some features that this cell phone have, but also there is a couple of things that I don’t like. Dimensions are 107 x 50 x 14.5 mm and it’s weight is only 89.5 g. This is a small phone and it is very good designed for a woman hand.
His TFT display has only 65k colors, and I was disappointed because I expected that he will have at least 256k colors, but never mind and this 65k colors can do the job. Anyway, display have 240 x 260 pixels and QWERTY keyboard. You can use keyboard very easy. It’s like on your computer. But sometimes the QWERTY keyboard can be a problem for someone who is using that keyboard for the first time.
Camera is 1.3 MP with 1280 x 1024 pixels, video, and flash. Camera is not so good, but you can take some good pictures if you know how to use it. For example, we don’t need to expect that the quality of the pictures will be great with 1.3MP.
Blackberry 8100 has a card slot : microSD (TransFlash) , and his intern memory is 64MB. Well, this is enough for someone who doesn’t need a lot of memory, and who uses his mobile device only for making a calls, and writing names to his address book.
Supported technologies are:
You can find it in black color only .
Other features that it supports are:
- Document viewer (Word, Excel, Powerpoint, PDF)
- Media player
- SureType keyboard software
- built-in handsfree etc
In the standard package you get the mobile device, charger and the pc suite.
The battery is standard , Li-Ion 900 mAh. His talk time is up to 3h and 30 min, and his stand by is up to 360h.
At the end this is a good cell phone. I only have to say that’s really bad that he doesn’t support HSCSD , WLAN and 3G. Design is very good, personally I like it, especially that he is in black color.
